A customer sent this email a while back regarding the camera sentry:

Hello, I wanted to let you know your product caught a burglar in my neighborhood. The video from the camera sentry mounted on my house not only persuaded a thief to go elsewhere (not break into my house) but help police arrest him for breaking into other homes in the area. He will be sentenced June 4th. The sentry was so interesting the idiot came right up to it and looked into the lens.

Please see attached picture. Notice the pry-bar in his hand. The video was shown to another home owner and family members who awoke to find him inside their home at 5:30am. When their alarm went off because of a programed 2 minute delay he was in a 15 year old girl's bedroom. She identified him and the local PD served an arrest warrant. Guess he had a history because the PD seemed to know where he was. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail and 3 years probation. I believe the Sentry prevented him from targeting my house. He saw the Sentry (I made it look nice) as he came up my driveway, rang my doorbell, and before anyone could answer the door he took off. I never learned if he was in my neighbors house on the same day of the video. She did describe him in the same clothes so I assume my recording was just a few hours later. Good job on a home grown invention which actually made a difference.
